Palestine Land Society (PLS), UK, organized an annual competition to redesign these destroyed villages for their reconstruction on the same site. Palestinian architectural students in the final year of study in a recognized institution or university are hereby invited to a very exciting competition to build a peaceful and just Palestine.

Zakaria participated in the competition to rebuild destroyed Palestinian villages- in 2016 and won the second prize through his project, Al-Tantora Village.
The competition included participants from three Palestinian universities and was judged in London with the participation of architects and researchers from different countries under the auspices of the Palestine Land society.
